Hi, guys —

I am trying to find a postal or e-mail address for a contact in the Vatican who will be able to assist me in finding information on priests who lived there in the early 1900s.

  • Any ideas?

Mike replied:

Hi, Suzanne —

I would recommend Catholic Hierarchy for any visitor who is looking for contact information about any priest or bishop. There, you can search down to the archdiocesan website level and look for a priest associated with the Vatican.

A friend of our apostolate said that if a Vatican archivist is listed on their website, he would probably be the person to contact with your historical questions.

You also may want to send a fax or write a request using my Where do I write? — Vatican Mailing Addresses page on AskACatholic.com.

Hope this helps,

Mike
